Brick Museum Karpacz pricing 2026 — is it worth it? An honest analysis from the owners

Brick Museum Karpacz pricing — see if it's worth a visit

Current Brick Museum Karpacz pricing 2026

We designed our pricing so it favours families — the more people in your group, the less you pay per person. That's the opposite of the typical "from X PLN" ticket, which looks attractive at first glance but dramatically raises the cost for a family of five. Our model is honest: the bigger your family, the less per person.

People Brick Museum Video Games Museum "Two Museums" ticket
1 person35 PLN29 PLN52 PLN
2 people65 PLN54 PLN90 PLN
3 people95 PLN78 PLN130 PLN
4 people120 PLN100 PLN165 PLN
5 people145 PLN120 PLN200 PLN — that's 40 PLN per person

Children under 90 cm tall enter free. Families with a very small child only pay for the parents (and any older siblings).

The museum is open daily 10:00–18:00, all year round — with one exception, 1 November (All Saints' Day in Poland). Payment by card or cash. VAT invoices on request, but please ask before purchasing the ticket.

Why we don't say "from X PLN"

Because it would be misleading. "Tickets from 35 PLN" sounds attractive — but it applies to one person, and 95% of our guests are families. When a parent with three kids sees "from 35 PLN" and mentally calculates 4 × 35 = 140 PLN, they get a false picture of what they'll pay. The actual price for a family of four with us is 120 PLN — that's 20 PLN less than the false multiplier.

The more people, the cheaper per person. For a single visitor, the per-person cost is 35 PLN. For a family of five, it drops to 29 PLN per person. That's a real family discount, and we want it visible upfront in the price list — without asterisks or fine print.

What you get for your ticket

When you enter the Brick Museum:

  • Three floors of interactive brick models — no time limit on your visit (until closing time).
  • Full interactivity — buttons and joysticks under most models. Children (and you) operate trains, dance floors, moving figures yourselves, and the flagship SpaceX rocket actually launches and flies into space.
  • Building zone for visitors — integrated with one of the models, separated only by a glass panel, so children feel like part of the exhibition.
  • Dozens of quests — "find the figurine", "find the detail" — turning the visit into a game, especially for children aged 5+.
  • Photography allowed — no extra charge. Tag #muzeumklockowkarpacz, we'd love to see.

Important — what's NOT included: there's no lift between floors. Strollers unfortunately can't enter — they can be left at the shop counter at the entrance. With children in carriers or in your arms — no problem.

Average visit time at the Brick Museum: 40–60 minutes, both museums together about 1 hour 30 minutes. Many families stay longer — quests and interactivity are the key. We recommend not starting your visit with less than 1.5 hours of slack in your day's plan.

The "Two Museums" combined ticket — when does it pay off?

The combined ticket includes admission to both the Brick Museum and the Video Games Museum on the top floor of the same building. If you plan to visit both — the combined ticket is the obvious choice. Sample savings:

  • 1 person: 35 + 29 = 64 PLN separately, 52 PLN combined — save 12 PLN
  • 2 people: 65 + 54 = 119 PLN separately, 90 PLN combined — save 29 PLN
  • 3 people: 95 + 78 = 173 PLN separately, 130 PLN combined — save 43 PLN
  • 4 people: 120 + 100 = 220 PLN separately, 165 PLN combined — save 55 PLN
  • 5 people: 145 + 120 = 265 PLN separately, 200 PLN combined — save 65 PLN

So savings grow with each person — for a family of five, that's 65 PLN! Genuinely worth it!

Is the Video Games Museum worth adding to your ticket?

Yes, and for a specific reason: it's often the biggest pleasant surprise of the visit. Guests who came "for the kids" to the Brick Museum get stuck themselves at the Video Games Museum — playing games of their childhood, commenting "oh, I remember this", "I played this at my friend's place", "this was my favourite".

It's 30 stations with retro games — Tetris, Super Mario, Tekken, and dozens of classics. Among the exhibits, real gems: the first Magnavox console imported from the USA (the oldest home gaming console in history) and UNITRA GTV — the first Polish Pong-style console. Plus classics that adults remember from childhood: Atari, Pegasus, Game Boy.

Average visit time at the Video Games Museum is 30–45 minutes, but adults "drift off" with retro games and often spend longer. Both museums together average 1 hour 30 minutes, and in a "slow, every-detail" version — even 2.5 to 3 hours.

Comparison with other Karpacz attractions (rough estimates)

For context — rough prices of other ticketed attractions in Karpacz and the immediate area (please confirm current rates before your visit):

  • Karkonoskie Tajemnice (our neighbour, ul. Mickiewicza 1a, multimedia exhibition about the Spirit of the Mountains) — 36 PLN standard, 29 PLN reduced.
  • Wang Temple (12th-century wooden church in Upper Karpacz) — 12 PLN adult, 7 PLN child from age 6.
  • Summer Toboggan Run "Kolorowa" — pricing per ride at kolorowa.pl/cennik.
  • Chairlift to Kopa — return ticket about 90 PLN adult, 70 PLN child (price includes Karkonosze National Park entry). Current rates at karpaczskiarena.pl.
  • Kamieńczyk Waterfall in Szklarska Poręba — entry to the waterfall about 8–12 PLN per person (Karkonosze National Park, seasonal).
  • Hotel Gołębiewski Karpacz Water Park — pricing for non-hotel guests, check the hotel's page.
  • Cieplice Thermal Baths in Jelenia Góra — thermal pools, ~25 min drive. Practical note: the facility tends to be very crowded for its size, especially on weekends.

Our take: in the Karpacz scale, our museums offer one of the best ratios of "price to active time spent with children". Most competing attractions are 30–45 minute visits at a similar price — our 2–3 hours are real.

Who gets the best value, and who less?

Best value for:

  • Families of 4–5 people — the "Two Museums" ticket at 165–200 PLN is 33–40 PLN per person. Hard to find a better ratio in any Karkonosze hotel or attraction.
  • Families with a very small child (under 90 cm) — the child enters free.
  • Families looking for weather-independent attractions — on a rainy day during school breaks or holidays, both museums save 2–3 hours of your day.
  • Brick or retro-gaming enthusiasts — these are places they can sink into and return to multiple times.

Slightly less ideal fit:

  • Single visitors without strong interest in bricks — 35 PLN for 40–60 minutes is average. You'll get much more for less if you come with 2+ people.
  • Babies under one year — they enter free (under 90 cm), but their engagement is limited to visual stimuli.
  • People who absolutely don't like bricks — though even most of those leave surprised by the quality of our models.

Do you accept Polish state discount cards?

No — we're a private institution and we don't honour the Polish Large Family Card or other state programmes. But (and this is an important but): our entire pricing is built with large families in mind. The more of you, the less per person. The "Two Museums" ticket for 5 people is 200 PLN, that's 40 PLN per person — close to what large families would pay with state discounts at attractions where the standard adult ticket is around 50 PLN.

How to buy tickets

You buy tickets on site, at the box office at the entrance — open during museum hours (10:00–18:00). Individual visitors don't need to book — tickets are available on the day. Phone reservations are only required for organised groups (16+ people) — that's when we agree on the offer and guarantee the price.

During peak season (July–August, school winter breaks, long weekends) short queues can form at the box office. Best to drop by during the first hours of the day (10:00–12:00) — the flow is lighter.

Official address: ul. Mickiewicza 11, 58-540 Karpacz.
Museum entrance: ulica Konstytucji 3 Maja in Karpacz.

FAQ — most common questions about Brick Museum pricing

Can I buy a ticket online?

Currently, tickets are sold only at the on-site box office. Individual visitors don't need to book. Organised groups (16+ people) can reserve by phone — Magda: +48 602 62 98 33.

Can I pay by card?

Yes — we accept cards and cash.

Are VAT invoices available?

Yes, on request. Important: please ask for a VAT invoice before purchasing the ticket, not after. It makes issuing the document much smoother for us.

Does the "Two Museums" combined ticket have to be used on the same day?

NO — and this is one of the best things about our pricing. You can split the "Two Museums" ticket across different days: visit the Brick Museum one day, return for the Video Games Museum on another date that suits you. Many of our guests do exactly this.

Why does this matter? In practice, here's what happens: you start the day with us, the kids dive into the models, more quests, a souvenir at the minifigure shop — and suddenly you look at the clock and it's 15:30. You still have lunch ahead, a short walk, maybe another attraction in town. Energy left for the second museum that same day? Often gone. Our ticket is built around this — you come back when you want, during the same trip or even a later visit to Karpacz.

The benefit is twofold: real cost savings compared to two separate tickets PLUS flexibility of timing. For families with children this is often a lifesaver — especially when someone got absorbed in the Brick Museum for 2 hours and everyone is already tired. Instead of "rushing" to the Video Games Museum, you come back fresh the next day and squeeze full joy out of the retro games.

Is the minifigure shop ticketed separately?

No — the LEGO minifigure shop next to the museum is open without a museum ticket. It's one of the larger minifigure collections in Poland. A perfect spot for a souvenir from your visit.

Do you have an offer for school trips?

Yes — from 16 people. Phone reservation and details are required in advance. Once booked, the price is guaranteed. Details on our groups page.

Is it worth it? A summary from the owners

If you're in Karpacz with children — yes, absolutely worth it. The combined ticket for a family of four is 165 PLN and gives you well-spent time of active fun for two generations. Hard to find a better price-to-experience ratio in town.

We've been running the Brick Museum since 6 January 2015. We built every model with our own hands and improve every one of them daily. The price you pay goes towards the upkeep, growth, and servicing of this hand-built exhibition — not to a corporation overseas. You're buying a ticket from a family that works here every day.
